First off, as you may have noticed adamcesare.com looks a bit different (i.e. much better). Huge thanks to the sublimely talented writer and designer Mekenzie Larsen for that. I’ll be sprucing the place up over the coming month and making sure all that wonky formatting in the older posts gets fixed, but until then I wanted to drop in and provide you with some reading material.
As you may have heard elsewhere on the internet, my new book is now available for purchase. Bound By Jade is a 20,000 word hard-boiled supernatural crime novella that continues the adventures of Ed Kurtz’s Sam Truman character. Reading the three preceding installments is NOT necessary to enjoy BBJ, but it is suggested.
You can pick that up for two dollars right here. There’s no print edition yet, but Abattoir is planning omnibus editions of the novellas to be released sometime in the future.
As always, if you like the book PLEASE spread the word. Honest reviews on amazon help so much, but so do any tweets, blogs, or mentions you can manage. Thanks for the support.
If you’ve been waiting with baited breath for my next in-depth review, then boy-oh-boy are you in luck. I’ve got a review of The Last Final Girl by Stephen Graham Jones up at the esteemed Los Angeles Review of Books (or LARB, as the cool kids call it). People familiar with my blogs know that I’m big into SGJ’s work, so it was an absolute honor to write about this book for such a great venue.
You can read that right here. Be sure to let me know what you think.
Thanks for stopping by, I think I’m gonna like the new home.
